Creating Custom Fields

This guide explains how to create and configure custom fields in PagueloFacil, allowing you to request additional information from customers during the checkout of payment links and payment emails.

1. Log in
Log in to your PagueloFacil account using your credentials.

2. Access My Company
In the top right corner of the screen, click on My Company.



3. Go to Custom Fields
Within My Company, select the Custom Fields tab.
In this section, you will see the
Custom Fields (+) option.

4. Create a new custom field
Click on the Custom Fields (+) button.
A window titled
Create will open, where you must complete the form.



5. Complete the field information
Enter the following details:
Name*
Title of the custom field that will be displayed at checkout
Description*
Informational text that the customer will see when completing the field
Type*
Select the type of field according to the information you want to request:
  1. Text string: Allows entering free text (names, comments, etc.)
  2. Integer: Allows only whole numbers (quantities, ages, etc.)
  3. True / False: Yes/no option for confirmations
  4. Email: Field with automatic email validation
  5. Read-only: Displays information without allowing editing
  6. Hidden: Not visible to the customer, used for internal data
  7. Options: Allows selecting from predefined values (size, color, etc.)
Value*
Define the values or options of the field (depending on the selected type)
Required
Enable this option if the field must be completed mandatorily
(Fields marked with * are required)



6. Save the custom field
Once the information is completed, click Save.


7. Display in checkout
When accessing the link, the user will be directed to the PagueloFacil checkout.
Depending on the configured fields, different fields will be displayed that the customer must complete before finishing the payment.

8. Functionality of custom fields
Custom fields allow you to add additional information to the checkout of your Payment Links and EmailPago, so your customers can complete relevant data before finishing a transaction.



Done. The custom field will be activate and available in your payment processes.
