AVS Response Codes for Visa and MasterCard

A | Address | Contains address only (without zip code). |
B | International "A" | Contains address only (without zip code). |
C | International "N" | Transaction declined because some parameter entered is not correct. |
D | International "X" | Contains address and zip code. |
E | Not allowed for MOTO (Internet/Phone) transactions | Transaction declined because it cannot be performed by mobile device. |
F | UK-specific "X" | Contains address and zip code. |
G | Global Unavailable | Card not available globally. |
I | International Unavailable | International card not available. |
M | Address | Contains address and zip code. |
N | No match | Transaction declined because some parameter entered is not correct. |
P | Postal (International "Z") | Contains zip code only (no address). |
R | Retry | Retry transaction. |
S | Service not Supported | Service is not supported by that brand. |
U | Unavailable | Card not available. |
