These are automatic charges that are made depending on a previously established periodicity. They are related to charges for consumption of products or services such as memberships, subscriptions, etc. that were previously authorized by the customer.

To view, modify, create and other actions you can enter the Payments section in the Recurring Payment subsection.

Recurring payments have three elements:
Customers: contains the information of all your customers.
Plans: contains the billing information and periodicity.
Subscriptions: contains the subscription of your customers in the plans.

Customer subscription process
1. Go to the Subscriptions tab.
2. On the right side of the screen, tap on the +Add button.

3. In the Add Subscription window, fill in the fields with your customer's billing information. You will need to indicate:
When the subscription starts
When the subscription ends
The plan: you can include your customer to an existing plan or add customized information for that customer.
Period and Amount: if you already had a plan created, these fields are filled automatically. If you create a customized plan for a customer, these amounts are filled manually.
Customer (must already be created)
Customer's card. You will have the option to:
Use one of the already saved cards
Add the customer's card on the fly
Send the customer a payment link where he can add his card information.
First charge: allows you to choose when the first charge of a subscription will be made. You can set it to "YES" or "NO" to indicate if you want an initial charge to be made when the subscription is created.

Example of how the First Charge field works:

"YES" option (Example - Case 1):

If you select "YES" in the "First Charge" field, the system will make the first charge at the time the subscription is created. Here is an example:

Let's assume that today is September 7 and you decide to create a subscription with a monthly periodicity of $10.00. If you select "First Charge" as "YES" and confirm the subscription today, you will be charged $10.00 immediately. After that, no further charges will be made until October 7.

NO" Option (Example - Case 2):

If instead, you select "NO" in the "First Charge" field, the system will not make an initial charge at the time of subscription creation. Here is an example:

Following the same scenario where today is September 7 and you create a $10.00 monthly subscription, but this time you select "First Charge" as "NO", you will not be charged anything at the time of subscription creation. Instead, the first $10.00 charge will be made automatically in the early morning hours of September 8. Thereafter, subsequent monthly charges will normally be made on the 7th of each month, starting with October 7th.

4. When finished, click on the Save button.
