These are transactions that, through our prevention system, present a high level of risk and for security reasons are placed in a Review status.

Transactions that are under review can be found in Transactions -> Reviews.

Transactions in Review keep the amount blocked in its entirety until some of the following actions are taken:

  • Validate

  • Refund

  • Accept

If the transaction under review is validated, refunded, or accepted, the system automatically releases the blocked amount.

Any transaction under review that has not been validated or refunded will be held in its entirety for a period of 120 days, during which time the credit card holder may file a chargeback.

When a transaction is in Review status, the system will allow you to perform the following actions:

  • Validate: You can validate the transaction with random charge validation to ensure that whoever is making the purchase, is the cardholder.

  • Refund: In case you do not want to assume the risk, or you cannot validate the transaction, you must refund the full amount of the transaction and not deliver the product and/or service.

  • Accept: In some cases, the system will allow you, as a merchant, to accept the risk of the transaction.
